We built a custom-coded Shopify store from scratch for Kadıköy Premium, replacing stock-theme dependency with the brand's own software foundation.
AI Summary
We coded a fully custom Shopify store from scratch for Kadıköy Premium. A premium menswear homepage, clean product pages, a smooth cart, fast search, a wishlist and a bilingual setup managed from a single admin panel now work together as one sales system. As a result, the brand owns a software foundation it can grow without hitting stock-theme limits.
Let's Talk!About Kadıköy Premium
Kadıköy Premium is a Shopify brand positioned in the premium menswear segment. Fabric quality, seasonal collections and a calm style stance matter as much as the products themselves. For this project we rebuilt the brand's digital store from scratch as a fully custom Shopify theme.
They Were Stuck on Stock-Theme Limits
Before this project, Kadıköy Premium was running on a stock Shopify theme. Stock themes are practical for a quick launch but cannot carry the level of detail a premium brand needs. The homepage was showcasing random products rather than brand style, collection separation got blurry and the premium feel was missing. Every small change on the stock theme also became harder to maintain over time. So we replaced the stock theme entirely and built a Shopify store coded from scratch, end to end.
We Coded the Custom Shopify Theme From the Ground Up
During development we did not reuse any stock component. The homepage layout, collection pages, product details, cart, search, wishlist and customer account were all written from zero for Kadıköy Premium. Shopify's own commerce engine continued to power payments and orders, while the customer-facing store layer was developed entirely around the brand. Every section's behavior was shaped to match the brand's positioning.
We Carried the Premium Feel Into the Store
The interface uses large visuals, calm typography, generous spacing and clear collection separation. The homepage highlights brand style rather than a busy product showcase, so the customer feels they are inside a premium menswear store from the very first screen. The visual order mirrors the brand's offline stance, which makes the digital experience instantly recognizable to anyone who already knows Kadıköy Premium from other channels.
We Made the Cart and Search Effortless
When the customer adds a product, the page does not change; the cart slides in from the right with the product list, recommended items and total price all visible together. Quantity changes and item removals happen with a single tap. This keeps the customer in their shopping flow while the basket grows.
We rebuilt the search experience too. After only a few characters, relevant products, categories and collections appear instantly. Customers who do not want to dig through a wide catalog reach what they need in seconds, which drops session abandonment significantly.
We Built a Wishlist for Slow Buyers
In premium menswear, customers rarely buy on the first look; they compare, return and reconsider. The wishlist lets them save what they like, and when they come back they see everything in one place. The path to cart on the second visit becomes much shorter.
One Admin Panel for the Bilingual Store
The store runs in both Turkish and English. Product copy, content blocks, menu labels and campaign banners can all be updated in both languages from a single admin panel. The Kadıköy Premium team can add new collections, launch campaigns or update product copy without any developer support, which gives the brand real operational speed.
What Changed in the End?
Kadıköy Premium no longer depends on a stock theme; the store now runs on a fully custom Shopify theme written from scratch. The brand identity reads stronger in the digital store, the collection flow matches the premium feel and the cart and search experiences were shaped to reduce page drop-off. More importantly, the store is now built on a software foundation that can be extended rather than constantly rewritten as new needs appear.
